At the Museum
Celebrate astronomy with space-themed fun for all ages! Enjoy science demonstrations by UCSB Physics Circus and the Museum’s Astronomy Programs staff. Talk with experts and enthusiasts of all ages from the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit and the Central Coast’s Girl Scout Astronomy Club. Make constellation crafts and safely observe the Sun through solar telescopes at Palmer Observatory, weather permitting. Experience a show in Gladwin Planetarium (seats are first-come, first-served). Bring your family, friends, and a sense of wonder—we can’t wait to celebrate the universe with you.
Included with Museum admission, Members are always free. Reservations are recommended.
