Water, Water Everywhere

Ages 4 & 5

What covers 70 percent of Earth's surface and is critical to life on Earth? Water! We will explore the differences between fresh and saltwater and find out just where all that salt comes from. Using Mission Creek, we will learn about the critters that Mission Creek supports from here all the way to the Pacific Ocean.

Creekside Adventures

Ages 6–8

Are you curious about what lives in and near our Mission Creek Campus? Come join us for three days of exploring the diversity of life that lives in and near the creek. We will investigate the invertebrates, vertebrates, and plants that link our food webs together!

Mission Creek Explorers

Ages 9–12

Are you ready to explore Mission Creek and become a hydrologist, a.k.a. a water expert? We will learn about the forces at play that move water through our landscape and support the Mission Creek ecosystem. We'll get to use scientific tools like microscopes to examine the little creatures that live in the creek, and learn about the plants and animals that make Mission Creek a rich place for life.
