Frequently Asked Questions

Please click the questions below to reveal the answers.

Please have your group gather at the Blue Whale skeleton (adjacent to the parking lot). Have the group leader come to the Museum's Admissions Office to receive admission tickets and maps.

Private cars may park in the Museum parking lot. In the summer months, bus parking is on the street only. Please let us know when you book your intended transportation choice.

The Museum has a beautiful picnic area alongside the creek and snacks available in the Museum Store. You are welcome to bring your own picnic. The picnic area is available first come, first served.

Of course! Our Store has great toys and gifts for all price ranges. Youth guests must be chaperoned and visit in groups of 10 or less. Depending on the group size there may be a time limit. Please time appropriately with bus pick up.

Not all spaces are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be checked out at the Museum's Admissions Office by leaving a driver's license or other form of valid identification. Learn more on our accessibility page.

Unless the number in your group increases or decreases drastically, there is no need to contact us. To receive the group discount, a minimum of 10 people is required.

For every 10 youth guests we suggest an (1) adult chaperone.
