2:00 PM - What’s Up
Get a close-up view of the sun through our state-of-the-art telescopes in the Palmer Observatory, then discuss the current night sky during a live interactive presentation in the Gladwin Planetarium.
Run Time: 40 minutes

3:00 PM - Universe: User’s Guide - Gravity

Why do oceans move in and out with the tides? Why is the earth round (despite what you might have read in strange places on the internet)? The answer is gravity. Join us as we explain the effects and workings of this ever-present—and sometimes strange—force.
