Lunar Eclipse Viewing

Join the Museum and the Santa Barbara Astronomical Unit for a free public viewing of a total lunar eclipse! We'll have telescopes, hands-on activities, demonstrations, and astronomy experts to answer all your questions.
This event will take place at the Camino Real Marketplace in the courtyard near the movie theater. The eclipse starts at 7:46 PM, with the moon going into full eclipse at 8:29 PM, and totality ending at 9:53 PM.
If you’re planning on staying for a while, consider bringing your own seating. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
