Art Meets Science for Kids: Garibaldi Gardening

At Zoom

January 16, 2021 / 11:30 AM–12:00 PM

Expand your art skills and science knowledge from the comfort of your own home in this workshop for kids. Tune into the fascinating world of the California state marine fish: the Garibaldi. Learn how this flashy fish keeps a beautiful ocean garden. Follow along as marine scientists show you the different ways you can create a masterpiece and answer your questions about this charismatic ocean fish.

Before you join us, print this Garibaldi coloring page and round up some art supplies. We recommend crayons, paint, or markers in orange, red, green and blue, but whatever you have at home will work with a little creativity.
