SB Museum of Natural History Launches Online Store
The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History has just launched a new online store featuring unique items related to Museum exhibits from Anthropology to Zoology.
The online store offers a variety of carefully curated gifts, apparel, art books and supplies, stationery, drinkware, Museum publications, children’s books, non-fiction books, Dibblee Geologic Maps, puzzles and games, toys, and more. Items are available for local, contact-free curbside pick-up and domestic shipping.
Senior Manager of Guest Services and Butterfly Pavilion Kim Zsembik shared, “Our online store will offer a broad variety of our community favorites like our eeBoo puzzles and games, and popular nature-themed titles which encourage all ages to step outside and explore their neighborhoods and the world around them. We’re excited to be able to offer so much of our hand-picked quality merchandise online for the first time. We hope to deliver the same personal service for our customers virtually as we offer in the physical store.”
As a private, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that relies on a variety of funding sources, the Museum and Sea Center will benefit from store purchases. They help to support programs enabling the institution to share its collections, exhibits, and education programs with thousands of visitors, schoolchildren, and researchers each year.
