Paul Valentich-Scott

Paul Valentich-Scott worked in the Department of Invertebrate Zoology from 1982 to 2019. He continues to study and publish on marine bivalve mollusks, and enjoys training students and scientists in bivalve identification, taxonomy, and ecology.
Valentich-Scott is a coauthor of the most comprehensive series of books on bivalves of the Eastern Pacific: Bivalve Seashells of Western North America, Bivalve Seashells of Tropical West America, and the forthcoming Bivalve Seashells of Western South America.
