Eyes in the Sky

At the Museum

December 3, 2020 / 2:00 PM–3:00 PM

Come visit our rescued birds of prey in the Museum Backyard. The Museum is home to six rehabilitated raptors who are unable to survive in the wild and act as education ambassadors through the Santa Barbara Audubon Society’s Eyes in the Sky Program. Meet Max the Great Horned Owl, Ivan the Red-tailed Hawk, Kisa the Peregrine Falcon, Kanati the American Kestrel, Athena the Barn Owl, and Puku the Western Screech Owl. Each day one of the birds will be out with a volunteer handler for you to meet and learn more about their vital role as predators in our local ecosystem.
