At Zoom

January 13, 2020 / 6:30 PM–8:00 PM

Professor William Glassley, Ph.D., University of California, Davis

Although Greenland figures in the news as an ice-covered landmass, there exists a little-known fringe of land around the ice that is the world’s greatest wilderness landscape. It is in that world that the Inuit culture has thrived for more than 4,500 years, some of the planet’s oldest history is recorded, and experiences of deep nature can be found. Join UC Davis Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences Professor William Glassley, Ph.D., in a fun exploration of the wildlife, rocks, and landscape wonders that stunning world has to offer.

Join our fun and friendly conversation, and quench your thirst for knowledge about science and nature. No tickets or reservations required, but be sure to get to Dargan’s early for a seat and to order your favorite drink and food.

Free admission.
