Get a close-up view of the sun through our state-of-the-art telescopes in Palmer Observatory, then discuss the current night sky during a live interactive presentation in Gladwin Planetarium.

3:00 PM - Universe: User’s Guide
Blue Sky and red Sun: myths and false claims in astronomy. We will try to correct some misconceptions in astronomy and answer some popular questions including: Why is the sky blue?
