Museums Kids' Club

The Kids' Club is a program designed exclusively for our Museum Kids. The Kids' Club offers enrichment and recreation programs and events for kids aged 5 to 12. Members at any level can add the Kids' Club benefit to their existing membership at a cost of $120 a year (that's just $10 a month!) Kids' Club members enjoy the following benefits:

  • A Museum T-Shirt
  • An annual subscription to National Geographic Kids Magazine
  • A surprise gift on your child's birthday
  • Three Family Friendly Kids' Club events per year
  • A 1/2 priced children's birthday party at the Museum

Additional children in the household can be added for $60 per year

Worms, Crickets, and Caterpillars-Oh My!

9:00-10:30 AM

Learn what worms eat, if they are ticklish, how they breathe, and why they are so slimy. Create your own critter craft. Find out what insects are edible and sample one of three uniquely seasoned cricket snacks. Show your insect pride with a critter tattoo. A continental breakfast is included.










 



Into the Deep Blue Sea

Explore the wondersa nd beauty of our local marine life through art and science. Instructor Janey Cohen will lead an art project whre kids will create beautiful greeting cards and art prints. Our sea Center Aquarist will provide you with an up close personal loook at our most delicate acquatic animals, the sea jellies. et your hands wet as you touch and feel their translucent bodies.  Enjoy jelly donuts nad a special photo opportunity with Toothy the Shark.
