Check out the many ways you can get involved!

All Ages

  • 10 Free iPhone Apps for Spectacular Stargazing
These apps for iPhone are all free and all can be used to determine just what's up in the sky.

  • Observing With NASA
Control your very own research telescope and take astronomy images for free!  This Harvard site is easy to use and allows you to choose an astronomical object to photograph.  The telescope does its work and sends you your images within a few days.  The site also includes a free program for combining the FITS telescope images into a color JPEG.

  • Astronomy Picture of the Day
Each day a different image or photograph of our fascinating universe is featured, along with a brief explanation written by a professional astronomer.

  • Cosmic Diary
The Cosmic Diary aims to put a human face on astronomy: professional scientists will blog in text and images about their lives, families, friends, hobbies and interests, as well as their work, their latest research findings and the challenges that face them.

  • The Museum is always hosting Star Parties, Lectures, and Meetings.
