The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History Mission Canyon Campus and Sea Center offer school groups unique learning experiences through various activities designed to meet specific educational goals. School programs are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards. Reservations are required for all programs.

A number of our galleries and outdoor learning spaces will be closed for renovations during the 2017–2018 school year. Our capacity to host school groups will therefore be diminished. But many galleries and school programs remain available so it is critical that you book in advance so we can provide you with an outstanding educational experience.

* On property lunch locations are canceld for the 2017-18 school year due to landscaping and new renovations.  There are two alternative locations 0.2 miles from the museum for you Convenience. Please remember to bring a trash bag with you to collect all litter.
