Carolyn Chandler

Carolyn Chandler has devoted much of her career and her volunteer activities to protecting natural, scenic and recreational landscapes, and promoting environmental education. She worked for the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, a California state conservation agency, for 15 years and she has held various positions at the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County, including Executive Director.

Carolyn’s current volunteer activities include Trustee at the Land Trust and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History; and Chair of the Leadership Committee for Direct Relief Women. She was also a co-founder of The California Environmental Project, the Gaviota Coast Conservancy, and of several outdoor education programs for urban youth in the Los Angeles area.
